1. Whether to carry out surface treatment
Generally speaking, after artificial surface treatment of industrial aluminum profile, life is longer. Even without artificial surface treatment, oxide film will form naturally. The difference is that the artificial oxide film formed by surface treatment is thicker, more uniform and dense than the naturally formed oxide film, which can be a good barrier to air, and is more wear-resistant than the oxide film formed in the natural air.
2. Different use environments
There is no doubt that the service life of industrial aluminum profiles in different use scenarios also varies greatly. Some special industrial aluminum profiles will be used in water or in more corrosive environments.
In this case, in order to extend its service life, the anodic oxidation time of aluminum profiles is generally increased, the thickness of the oxide film is increased, or the surface is hard oxidized. The life of aluminum profiles used in the open air is also different from that used in indoor places.
3. Alloy content
There are examples of reducing the alloy content of industrial aluminium profiles in order to reduce costs, which can affect the service life of the profiles produced. Specifically, the quality of industrial aluminum profiles, the content of alloy components is not enough, or the intermediate doping of other impurities in aluminum profiles too much, may greatly reduce its service life.
Especially iron, if industrial aluminum contains a certain amount of iron, will greatly reduce its corrosion resistance, we must pay attention to this kind of procurement, some factories with waste aluminum, reprocessing aluminum surface black, is excessive iron content, we should be careful to identify.
