With the continuous development of powder coating technology, electrostatic powder coating on the surface of industrial aluminum profiles is widely used in the current powder coating process due to its unique advantages. Its main feature is that the recycling rate is as high as 95%, and it does not pollute the environment. Powder coating can be performed at room temperature without preheating, forming a thick film at one time without sagging.
1. Air spray method
Put the powder coating into the spray gun, and use the adsorption force of the compressed air to adsorb the coating on the surface of the preheated
industrial aluminum profile. If it is a thermosetting powder, it should be placed in the oven to cure. This spraying method is suitable for the surface of small industrial aluminum profiles.
2. Fluidized bed dip coating method
First preheat the industrial aluminum profile, and then immerse it in the powder coating fluidized bed to melt the powder onto the surface of the industrial aluminum profile. Thermoplastic and thermosetting powders can be used. If it is a thermosetting powder, it should also be put into an oven for curing. This spraying method is suitable for small industrial aluminum profile surfaces with thin film thickness, as well as medium-sized pipes or metal mesh, can be fully immersed.
3. Electrostatic powder coating
This is one of the most widely used powder spraying methods at present. It uses the principle of electrostatic adsorption to make the electrostatic induction powder coatings bring opposite charges respectively and adsorb to the surface of industrial aluminum profiles, thermal spraying and cold spraying, and then enter the oven to dry after spraying. The spraying method is suitable for the surface of industrial aluminum profiles of different sizes and shapes, and thermoplastic and thermosetting powders can be used.
4. Electrostatic fluidized bed dip coating method
The spraying method combines fluidized bed dip coating method with electrostatic powder spraying, adopts thermoplastic and thermosetting powder, and is suitable for mass production of small industrial aluminum profiles below 150μm.
