The ratio of metal materials required for extrusion of
aluminum profiles is different, and the properties of the extruded profiles after smelting are also different, which leads to their different functions and different places of application.
The commonly used aluminum alloy material models for industrial aluminum extrusion profiles are: 6060, 6063, 6063A, 6061, 6082, 6106, 6101, 6101B, 6005, 6005A, 6351, 6863, 2014, 7005, 7075 and other 16 kinds. The properties corresponding to each material are also different, so in the face of different application requirements, different aluminum alloy profiles are selected.
1. 6063 and 6060 series of industrial aluminum alloy profiles can not only be used for building doors, windows and curtain walls, but also as all-aluminum furniture, including indoor furniture, bathrooms, etc., and can also be used for general industrial purposes such as radiators and elevators.
2. 6061 and 6082 aluminum alloy extruded profiles are mainly used for reefer boxes, container floors, truck frame parts and some vehicle track structures.
3. 6106 aluminum alloy profiles are mainly used as various corrosion-resistant profiles.
4. 6106 and 6101B aluminum extrusion profiles are specially used for the production of high-strength electrical bus bars and various conductor materials.
5. 6005 profiles are mainly used as ladders, TV antennas and launchers, etc.
6. 6005A is mainly used for high strength. The end face is responsible for telling the trains, subway trains, light rails and luxury buses and other means of transportation.
7. 6351 T6 aluminum alloy profiles are mostly used for extruded structural parts of highway transportation facilities and high-strength gas, oil, water pipes, etc.
8. Other aluminum extrusion profiles such as 2024 and 7075 are high-strength aluminum alloy profiles, and the performance of these materials has yet to be developed.
Aluminum extrusion profiles come out of different materials, and their production processes and industries are also different. For example: the difference between air cooling and water cooling, and the difference in surface treatment. These all indicate that there are still many places for aluminum alloy profiles to innovate and need continuous research and development to find more practical performance and applications.
