In general, the purpose of surface treatment for aluminum radiator profiles is to play a role in aesthetics and protection. Usually, aluminum alloy radiators are mostly made of silver-white, which is the true color of aluminum, but also black and golden yellow. Among the many colors, black has strong heat radiation ability. Without adding additional fans or liquids, the heat dissipation efficiency of black is about 5% higher than that of silver white. The performance is helpful, and sometimes the color treatment on the surface will reduce the heat dissipation performance, so what are the effects of the surface treatment of aluminum radiator profiles on the heat dissipation?
Surface pretreatment: The surface of aluminum radiator profiles is cleaned by chemical or physical methods, and the pure substrate is exposed to facilitate obtaining a complete and dense artificial oxide film, and a mirror or matte surface can also be obtained by mechanical means.
Anodizing: The surface pretreated aluminum radiator profiles, under certain process conditions, anodize the surface of the substrate to form a dense, porous, and strong adsorption film.
Sealing: The pores of the porous oxide membrane formed after anodization are sealed, so that the anti-pollution, erosion opposition and wear opposition of the oxide membrane are enhanced. The oxide membrane is colorless and transparent, and the strong adsorption of the oxide membrane before sealing is used. Some metal salts are adsorbed and deposited in the membrane pores, which can make the appearance of the aluminum radiator profiles show many colors other than the original color, such as: black, bronze, golden yellow and stainless steel.
If a fan is installed on the radiator to enhance the air flow, the influence of the surface color can be ignored, and the advantage of a large surface color is that it can protect the radiator, especially in some relatively harsh working environments, the surface the color treatment of aluminum radiator profiles will greatly increase the lifespan.
